Terms of service
Last updated October 12, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and SiteSprout (“we”, “us”) when you use sitesprout.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. What SiteSprout is
SiteSprout is a tool that helps you find local businesses that may need a website, build website previews, and keep track of your outreach and clients. It is a tool and a guide. We don’t find clients for you, and we don’t promise any income or results.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use SiteSprout.
- While sign-up is invite only, you need a valid invite code. Codes are for one person and can be used once.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Give us a real email address. We use it for sign-in, receipts and important notices.
3. Membership, usage credit and renewal
- The membership costs a fixed monthly fee (currently $15), billed in advance by card through Stripe, and renews automatically until you cancel.
- Paid actions are charged from your prepaid usage credit at the prices shown in the app (for example, a Google search or an AI design). Each month you also pay the usage budget you chose, which is added to your credit. You can change the budget or top up anytime.
- Unused credit rolls over to the next month while you are a member. Credit has no cash value except as described in the Refund policy.
- When your credit runs out, paid actions stop until you add more. We never charge you more than the membership, your chosen budget and the top-ups you make.
- If an action fails (for example, a search or AI design that doesn’t complete), its credit is returned automatically.
- Free accounts can buy a one-time AI trial ($5 of credit), usable for AI designs only. It can be bought once per person. Unused trial credit carries over if you become a member.
- Prices can change. We’ll tell you at least 14 days before a price change takes effect.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel anytime from Plan & billing → Card, invoices & cancel. When you cancel, your membership ends right away and your account goes back to the free plan. You keep your leads and websites. Your unused usage credit is refunded to your card. The membership fee for the current month isn’t refunded. See the Refund policy.
If a payment is fully refunded or disputed with your bank, the membership ends right away.
5. The free plan
- The free plan includes open map searches (currently 25 a day) and, while seats are available, a limited number of Google searches a month.
- Free Google seats are limited. If you don’t open SiteSprout for 14 days, your seat may be given to someone else. Your account and data stay; you can get a seat again when one is free.
- We can change or end free features at any time.
6. How you contact businesses
You are responsible for how you contact businesses and for following the laws that apply to you, including anti-spam and telemarketing laws. You must follow our Outreach rules. We may suspend accounts that are used for spam, harassment or misleading outreach.
7. Business data
Business information comes from third parties: Google Maps Platform and OpenStreetMap. It may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, for example a business may have a website that isn’t listed. Check before you rely on it. Google search features are also subject to the Google Maps / Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Open map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
You may not copy, scrape, resell or bulk-export Google data from SiteSprout, or use it to build your own database. To follow Google’s rules, Google details on saved leads (such as phone, address and rating) are refreshed after 30 days, or removed if they can’t be refreshed. Your own notes, stages and contact history are never removed. Exports include your own work and a map link, not Google’s details.
8. Your content
The notes, leads, websites, photos and text you add are yours, including websites the AI designs for you. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to use any names, logos, photos and reviews you put in a website, and for getting the business owner’s permission before you publish a site for them.
9. Our content
The SiteSprout app, its design, scripts, guides and website templates belong to us. You may use the scripts and templates in your own client work while you have an account. You may not copy or resell the app itself.
10. What you may not do
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
- Try to get around plan limits, share an account to avoid paying, or create several accounts to get more free searches.
- Attack, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service.
- Pretend to be someone else, or pretend to be the business you are contacting.
11. Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using SiteSprout anytime and ask us to delete your account through the contact page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close a paid account without a reason that is your fault, we’ll refund the unused part of the current month.
12. No guarantees
SiteSprout is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don’t guarantee that it will always be available, error free, or that you will win clients or earn money.
13. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using SiteSprout after that, the new terms apply.
15. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of King County, Washington, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
